Fireworks Blamed For Vacant House Fire

Omaha firefighters were called to a house fire near 38th and Seward Tuesday afternoon.  When they arrived the vacant home was engulfed in flames.

Neighbor Nathan Jackson tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB he heard fireworks being set off by kids in the neighborhood about 15 minutes before the fire was reported.

He says some kids were running and yelling "Fire".  Jackson says the house had been vacant about three years.  He says he's grateful no one was injured and that his house was not damaged.
