Saunders County Authorities say blowing snow may have been a factor in a deadly crash Tuesday involving a farm tractor and a pickup truck.

The Saunders County Sheriff's Office says 36-year-old Arlin Kasuske, of Ashland, was driving a pickup Tuesday afternoon near a county road when a tractor in the other lane attempted to make a left turn into a farm driveway.

Investigators told WOWT 6 News that there was no shield on the tractor and that 58 year old Bruce Rogers had covered his face from the blowing snow.  The tractor's front-end loader collided with the side of Kasuske's pickup. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rogers was not injured. The case remains under investigation.
