Speed was a factor in an accident that injured an Omaha man Wednesday afternoon.  Police say Wesley Wiebe was riding his motorcycle southbound on North 40th Street at a high rate of speed around 1:30 p.m. when he lost control and hit a car heading northbound approaching Spencer Street.

Wiebe was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center for treatment of a broken leg. The driver of the car was not hurt.
