Two men and a teenage girl have been arrested for Saturday morning's attempted robbery of a Lincoln convenience store, foiled by two police officers inside the business.
Police say the masked men came into the Kwik Shop at South 40th and A streets around 3:30 a.m., but ran off after spotting the officers. Apparently, they did not spot the police cruiser conspicuously parked out front when they came in.
The officers chased the suspects south to Washington Street where they got into a car with the girl behind the wheel and drove away. The vehicle was found nearby with the teen inside. She was cited for accessory to a felony and released to her parents.
Keith Cocroft and Shaquille Adams were later located and arrested. Cocroft also faces charges for robbing the same Kwik Shop on February 9th. Adams also faces charges as an accessory in the February 9th holdup and for robbing the Kwik Shop near 1st and Dawes in Lincoln on February 16th.
