Storm Damage Drop-Off Sites Open

As a result of Sunday night’s storm, tree limbs are down throughout the metro.

To help residents clean up yards and other public spaces, the City of La Vista has established a storm damage drop-off location at the Public Works facility, 9900 Portal Road.

Residents can drop off any tree limbs today through Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

In Elkhorn, a limb drop-off has also been established.

Limbs can be dropped off in the far east parking lot of the football field at Ta Ha Zouka Park.  The park is located at 905 Elkhorn Drive.  The site will remain open until 6:00 pm Sunday May 18.

Deffenbaugh will also collect limbs with regular weekly yard waste collections.  For information about bagging, cutting, and bundling limbs go to wasteline.org
