A one-vehicle crash near 183rd and Blondo Monday morning sends a teenage girl to the hospital.
Investigators say she was west bound on Blondo around 8:15 a.m. when she lost control, slid off the road and struck a tree.
Battalion Chief Bill Bernard says it took about 20 minutes to extricate the girl.
She was airlifted to an Omaha hospital in serious condition.
It was believed she was heading to school when the accident happened.
