According to a new survey sponsored by Accountemps, many workers are bothered by the habits of their co-workers in the office.
Using a speakerphone or talking loudly on the phone was the number one thing that annoyed workers, with 36 percent of respondents saying these behaviors bothered them the most.
23 percent found it annoying when a co-worker talked or loitered around their desk.
And, food with strong odors was also listed as a problem, with 15 percent of respondents saying they are annoyed by smelly foods eaten by co-workers.
Other things workers are bothered by include:
- body odor and bad breath
- clicking a pen
- chewing gum
- wearing inappropriately sexy clothing
- a messy workplace
