Update On Yesterday's Deadly Omaha Hit & Run

Police locate SUV involved in deadly hit-and-run crash                                                                  

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Omaha Police have located the SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist Wednesday morning. 

Juan J. Moreno-Tamayo, 31, was killed in a traffic accident at 32nd and Q streets. Rescue crews were called to the scene at approximately 6:40 a.m.

Police say that Moreno-Tamayo was eastbound on Q Street on a Honda CBR motorcycle and the other vehicle involved, a 2001 Ford Explorer, was northbound on 32nd. Investigators say the Explorer ran a stop sign and hit the motorcycle in the intersection.

Moreno-Tamayo died at the scene. Police located the Explorer involved in the crash Wednesday evening. Police say the vehicle is registered to Luis Velasquez-Ortiz. Police did not say if an arrest was made
