OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Authorities are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run with a fuel hose – a collision that sent nearly 100 gallons of gasoline pulsing to the pavement.
It happened around 1:30 Thursday morning near 42 and F.
A tanker was delivering fuel to the gas station there when a motorist ran over the hose initiating the fuel spill. The motorist drove off as the gasoline flowed.
No one was hurt but some of the fuel did get into the sewer.
Several traffic lanes were shut down for a time but the incident was not expected to affect morning drive.
