COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — A graphic design company conducted a survey on re-branding Santa to make him more modern.
Respondents participating in GraphicSprings survey said they would modernize Santa by ditching his iconic suit with skinny jeans, tattoos, a hoverboard and a flying car.
Twenty-seven percent of respondents said they would prefer Santa to be either a woman or gender neutral if he had to be rebranded. Twenty-one percent of people thought Santa should put down the cookies and get on a diet.
GraphicSprings asked 400 people between the ages of 18 and 25, to provide suggestions on how they would rebrand Santa. They said a selection of these suggestions were voted on by 4,000 people in the United Kingdom and United States. Read full story HERE
