We received this email at the radio station from a listener who attended the Dierks Bentley/Jon Pardi concert Saturday night at the CHI Center. As you read it, you'll quickly realize that the email wasn't about the CONCERT, but about the crowd that was there. Give it a quick read and then chime in. Would love to hear your thoughts and anything you've experienced at this or any other recent country concert. ~Ritch
I went to the Dierks Bentley concert last weekend and was shocked at the state of human humanity.
The concert was excellent and have nothing but praise for the two lead acts of John purdy and Dierks Bentley. However I was appalled at the people attending. The millennial woman could not put their phones down long enough to enjoy one song. Constant selfie snap chatting. They could not even dance and sing with out recording themselves. The older women. Were no better.
Cell phone 12 inches from their face texting when Dierks singing his best songs. Why drop the money in a ticket? Then the others around me were sloppy drunk. I like a good beer like anyone but to drop 8 bucks a beer and get sloppy fall down drunk makes no sense to me.
People have also forgotten common decency. People are so rude and demanding. Standing in line is almost a free for all in rude terse behavior. What happened to common manners? I went to ACDC many years ago in the same venue and it was much more civilized.
What has happened to America. I have lost faith in humanity.
What say you?!?
