Woman Arrested for Handing Out 'Weed' Cookies at St. Patty's Day Parade

A Wisconsin woman was all smiles after being arrested for an illegal stunt she pulled at a parade.

Parade-goers found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that they weren't asking for when 57-year-old Cathleen Krause allegedly handed out marijuana-laced cookies and candy at the town of Westcott's St. Patrick's Day parade, via the NY Daily Mail.

An unnamed person at the parade told police about the "visibly intoxicated" Krause, who had a gallon-size bag of cookie crumbs and gummy candy on her, which all tested positive for marijuana.

Krause faces two felony and three misdemeanor charges and was ordered to maintain "absolute sobriety."

Although limited medicinal marijuana use is legal in Wisconsin, recreational remains illegal in the state.
