MEMORY MONDAY - The Making of Eric Church's 'Drink in My Hand' Video @ Stir

8 years ago, *New* artist Eric Church announced that he wanted to film his new video at one of his favorite cities/venues in the country: Stir Cove Council Bluffs/Omaha. Below are a few of the shots from that night, including the final video from the 2 night shoot. Let us know if you see yourself or people you know. Still one of the most epic nights ever in the history of the Stir Concert Cove.

Eric's vibe room was pretty low key back in the early years with just chairs for band, crew and friends to relax prior to the show.

EJ (and me) from #iHeartRadio got time to chill in Eric's room and feel 'the vibe'.

The stage setup was ready for the capacity crowd with the double drum kits ready to set the mood.

The sold out crowd showed up EARLY to get the best view of the action and to hopefully get a shot in the new video. Along with the thousands inside the cove, people by the hundreds sang, danced and peered through the cast iron fence to catch a glimpse.

What has now become a backstage ritual, Eric and the guys huddled off the side of the Stir stage and toasted to a night that would elavate his star power even more.

A hot that was probably about 30 minutes prior to show time, people would NOT leave their spot.

From up above, it was clear to see nobody was movin for awhile.

And from the moment Chief hit the stage, the night was a magical sing and dance along while crews filmed for the song that would become his first (of many) #1's 'Drink in My Hand.'

And here is the finished porduct. Shot over 2 nights at the Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, IA just across the river from the Omaha skyline. These 2 nights will always be 2 nights of stories that begin with 'OMG....were you there?'
