Pizza is awesome, and leftover pizza doesn’t suck, either…especially if you know how to re-heat those leftovers correctly. Ovens can overdo it and micorowaves can make the pie too chewy. Chef and TikTok creator Dom Melier shared his no-fail method of making your second-day pizza first-day quality.

  • Get out a pan with a lid and heat it up. It’s worth noting that this video doesn’t say to what temperature the pan needs to be heated…so let’s say medium to medium-high. Melier’s video only says to heat “until the pan gets hot”
  • Once “hot,” place your slice of choice onto the pan without oil or butter for about 30 seconds to one minute, depending on how crispy you want it
  • Take a “small amount of water” and lightly pour it into the side of the pan. Don’t let it touch the pizza because you don’t want it soggy. Then, put the lid on the pan to let the slice steam up

Three-to-four minutes later…bam…Melier says your crust will be crisp and your toppings will be gooey. Try it and see how it works for yourself!
