Lauren Alaina welcomed an adorable Goldendoodle puppy to her family last month. The singer introduced her new puppy, named Opry, on Christmas Day on social media, sharing a slideshow of photos from the two's recent trip to the Grand Ole Opry.
The first photo shows Alaina holding Opry on the Grand Ole Opry stage, which was decorated with Christmas trees for the holiday season. The next three photos were solo shots of the puppy wearing a checkered bandana around her neck and a little cowboy hat.
"Everyone paws what you’re doing and meet my sweet baby girl, Opry," Alaina captioned the post. "I’m pretty sure this is the cutest @Opry debut to date."
The country singer went on to note that Opry has her own Instagram account, which already has close to 7,000 followers. Like her mom, the pup also seems to be a fan of a good pun. The latest post, which shows Alaina hugging Opry while standing on the beach, was cleverly captioned, "My mom loves me so much she can hardly sand it 🐚."
Opry joins Alaina in her Nashville home, which she moved into in February. After settling in, Alaina offered fans a glimpse inside the 2,200-square-foot property in a video tour with People. In the clip, she shows off a few of her favorite pieces in the house, one of them being her grandmother's record player. See the full video here.
Musically, Alaina released her brand new EP, Getting Over Him, in the Fall of 2020. The project features six new songs, including two duets with Jon Pardi and Lukas Graham. A full track list and further details on the EP can be seen here.
