The Salvation Army of Omaha serves those most vulnerable in our community 365 days a year. Our main metro-area programs and services are food, housing, behavioral health, youth development, material assistance, older adult services, anti-human trafficking, and emergency disaster services. The Nebraska Humane Society protects, saves and enriches the lives of animals in the communities we serve. We work to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home pets who have been lost, abandoned or neglected. We provide pet resources like training, low cost spaying and neutering, and free food pantry items to pet owners who may need a helping hand. We work to educate pet owners and community members about the human/animal bond, encourage adoptions and promote responsible pet ownership.
