Dan + Shay are making sure that their upcoming "Arena Tour" is something special.
On Monday (September 7), the country duo took to social media to share a 16-second clip of them rehearsing "Irresponsible," a cut off their latest album, Good Things, teasing a component of the upcoming trek. "Rehearsing IRRESPONSIBLE because we *might* do an acoustic set and *might* take different different requests every night on THE (ARENA) TOUR,” the pair captioned the clip. "Is that something you *might* be interested in?"
The chart-topper's "Arena Tour" was originally scheduled to kick off in 2020, but like every other venture, the trek was paused and rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re set to kick off the tour on Thursday in Greenville, South Carolina, before making their way to cities like New York, Chicago, Salt Lake City and Atlanta. The tour will end in early December.
"Thank you to our fans for being so patient while we worked through the rescheduling of the (arena) tour," Dan + Shay wrote in August 2020 of their reschedules dates. "We’re absolutely crushed that it wasn’t able to happen this year, but your safety is more important to us than anything, so we made the difficult decision to move the tour to 2021. Even though it seems like an eternity, the new year will be here before we know it, and we promise it will be worth the wait."
