Meet The Delivery Driver Who Saved the Sheets ☔

The Delivery Driver Who Saved the Sheets ☔

You know that sinking feeling when you realize you left laundry on the line... and it’s raining? 😩 One homeowner in Logan, Australia was bracing for that exact moment—until her delivery driver stepped in like a total legend.

Last Thursday, Gurpreet Singh, a local postman, was caught on a security camera doing something totally unexpected. Instead of just dropping off a package, he noticed the rain starting and gently took the homeowner’s bedsheets off the clothesline, placing them under cover. Talk about going above and beyond!

The homeowner, Verrity Wandel, shared the video online with the caption: “This is 1 in a million.” And honestly? She’s not wrong. The clip went viral fast, even getting picked up by Indian media, where Singh is now being called a “laundry hero.”

Singh, a member of Brisbane’s Sikh community, said he only hesitated for a second before deciding to help. “It only took a minute,” he said. That one minute made a huge impact—and reminded us all that kindness doesn’t have to be complicated.

Wandel later posted a follow-up video encouraging others to pay it forward: “Say hello to somebody. Smile at somebody. It makes a difference.”
