A new Keith Urban era starts with smooth vibes

Keith Urban is clearly in a playful mode right now.

This week, he dropped two songs from his upcoming album Flow State. It is his take on yacht rock, and yes, it leans fully into that smooth, laid-back sound. Think songs you have heard your parents play in the car, but with Keith making them his own.

Right after those tracks came out, he surprised fans with a small, sold-out pop-up show. Instead of teasing a single song, he went all in. The set leaned heavy on Flow State and included covers like “Magnet and Steel,” “Just the Two of Us,” and “Baby Come Back.” The vibe was loose. No big production. Just music and a crowd that knew exactly what they were getting into.

One of the highlights was Keith performing his original song “We Go Back” from the album. It fits right in with the rest of the project—easy, warm, and built for summer evenings. Check out a quick clip of his performance below.

But the music was not the only thing people are talking about.

Before the show, Keith casually took a seat at the box office and greeted fans while they bought tickets. No stage. No speech. Just a quick hello and a few smiles. It felt very on-brand for an artist who still seems to enjoy the small moments. Check out the video below.

Flow State comes out June 12. Based on this early look, it sounds like an album made for rolling the windows down and not overthinking it.
