This Valentine’s Day, UK florist Athena Flowers is giving away thorn-free roses to those who’ve been the victims of cheaters or have been ghosted. The “prick-free Valentine’s Day” promotion is meant to offer some solace during what can be an emotionally challenging season. In addition to the roses, the florist is also giving away boxes of removed thorns (or “pricks,” if you will), allowing recipients to decide how they wish to use or dispose of them, by—for instance—scattering them symbolically outside your ex-lover’s front door. The giveaway is open February 5th through the 13th to jilted lovers who sign up for Athena Flowers’ newsletter.
