Here are five things to look forward to in November...
1. Daylight Saving Time ends So we gain an hour of sleep tomorrow night.
2. In sports:
- The new NBA season is just getting started
- The MLS playoffs are underway
3. A few big movie sequels hit theaters:
- "Now You See Me: Now You Don't" on the 14th
- "Wicked: For Good" on the 21st
- "Zootopia 2" on the 26th
Some others you might want on your radar include:
- The historical drama "Nuremberg" on the 7th
- Action comedy "Playdate" hits Amazon Prime Video on the 12th
- The new adaptation of "The Running Man" will be released on the 14th
4. On TV:
- The fifth and final season of "Stranger Things" hits Netflix on the 26th
- New episodes of "Sesame Street" are also coming to Netflix on the 10th
- Season Three of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is out on Hulu on the 13th
- The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on November 8th and will stream live on Disney+
- "The 59th Annual CMA Awards" will air live on ABC on November 19th
5. And finally, the holidays: The big ones are Veterans Day on the 11th, and Thanksgiving on the 27th.
But here are a few more to look forward to:
- National Happy Hour Day is the 12th
- The 13th is World Kindness Day
- Black Friday is on the 28th. (Cyber Monday falls on December 1st.)
